Back years ago when I started this blog I was so horrified by the actions of George Bush and his administration I could not stand to hear his voice on his radio or even speak or write his name. I missed the beginning of countless news stories because I would shut the radio or TV off whenever he spoke or appeared. In order to write about him I chose to append a negative honorific to his name. HSWIB is short for hands-stained-with-innocent-blood.
Thankfully we won't have him at the helm of the ship of state much longer. It's my fondest hope that he disappears into oblivion. And I hope I will never need to use his name again. Soon I should be able to write "Bush (hswib)" for the last time.
