When reporters take their points from one of the belligerents in a dispute, they should do a bit of independent thinking to detect the hogwash. Even the governor doesn't seem to understand that for every dollar the public workers get in benefits, they pay in 100 cents. It isn't about making the workers a larger share for benefits, it's about just paying them less all around.

SEC enforcement has no teeth. In fact, the defenders of the interests of the public have pretty much become the defenders of the criminals. This needs more attention. Given what Wall Street has done to this country, every taxpayer should be outraged.
Contrary to the popular right-wing myth, Social Security is doing just fine, both now and for our children's future. To maintain current benefit levels out as far as one can plan, only a few minor tweaks are needed. It shouldn't be lumped with Medicare and Medicaid as a budget concern.

After only 55 rounds being fired, "the Punisher" is a weapon that has proven its worth in Afghanistan. With range-aware explosive rounds it reaches those guys who tried to hide behind the boulders. This is good only as long as the only the good guys have the weapons. When the enemy acquires it, things will be different.
