Dark Clouds
Free speech dies in China. With this step, free speech in Hong Kong becomes extinct. The free world now faces a truly monolithic adversary where the last bastion of human rights has now been razed. What will be our response? Our global economy has become dependent on the products from China. The very size of her population and technological prowess casts a shadow over Asia. It's probably past time to think about ways the free world can protect the Chinese from their own government as well as our own economic future going forward. Especially when the U.S. government is so stunningly incompetent under the current administration.
