What are you doing to protect democracy?

In my lifetime the overt voter suppression of racism under the Jim Crow regime was disassembled and black voters in the South became a sufficient political force that they were essential to the nomination of a Presidential candidate that won by a popular vote margin unequaled in recent history in an election that had the highest turnout in recent history while under the shadow of a worldwide pandemic. 

Today we see a political party whose singular best strategy to win elections is to prevent voters who oppose them from voting. And whose second arm of strategy is to do everything in their power to overturn any election they happen to lose.
