Pro-Life's dark side

In today's world, unsafe abortions kill 70,000 women a year. In common with many right-wing policies, the pro-life agenda has a strong faith-based component, ie., if abortions are illegal, women will stop having them. But in the real world women still seek out abortions even in jurisdictions where it is a crime. And many of them die as a result. If abortions become illegal in this country I sure hope pro-life proponents are prepared to take responsibility for the toll it will exact on the most-vulnerable women in our society.
